First Letter!

Yay!!! Our first letter! We weren't sure when we would get one.

Dear Family,

Well, it's 6:00 pm on my first day here.  It's been a long day! Right after you guys dropped me off, everything happened so quick!  We went to an area for new missionaries, where they gave me my ID card to get in the doors, my name tag and my assignment for room, classroom, and companion!  My companion is Sister Carter!
When I first read who my companion was, I was so excited because her first name is Erika!!
I thought, "This is perfect! My first roommate's name, and my first companion's name!!"
She is really sweet.  She was homeschooled, so that's pretty cool! I am so excited to be companions!
There are 12 people in our district, which apparently is a full house! We have 3 companionships of sisters going to Charlotte, and we are all in the same room.  Then there is one companionship of elders going to Charlotte, and 2 companionships going to Oklahoma City.

They have very structured schedules here.  Which is nice.  I was excited to have a schedule because I know everything I'll be doing the next 12 days.  My stuff is so heavy.  We've started unpacking a bit, and we'll do the rest tonight.  I guess the housing I'm in is really nice compared to other places at the MTC.  My host (the girl who picked me up from the curb (wow, that sounds really sad)) kept saying how my housing was so nice compared to her.  It seems like a good space!  I've seen a lot of people I know, surprisingly.  I saw Elder Brienholt, Elder Turley, Sister Miranda Robison, Elder Anderson (I knew him from Riverton), Sister Jorgenson (from Riverton), Elder Bowen (Herriman), Elder Dansie (Riverton).  Right now we're sitting in our classroom for an hour until our next thing.  It's completely silent.  The Sisters talk a lot and the Elders are really quiet.  Almost all of them just graduated high school.

Our P-day will be on Tuesday.  My name badge is awesome.  We have a magnet one and a safety-pin one.
Ok, now it's 7:15 am on Thursday! Our Schedule is funny.  We have an hour to get ready in the morning, then we work out then we have like another 30 min. to get ready.  So it's double showers!

Well, I want to send this soon, but you'll hear more from me in my email Tuesday! I'm really happy!
I love you all and already miss you so much.  Last night, we did this AWESOME activity with fake investigators.  It's going to be really challenging.  It was a huge group and people would take turns talking with the investigator.  The main thing was when we talked too much about ourselves, and didn't focus on them, it wasn't as successful.

                                                       I love you!
